My baby started solids at over 4 months old, but after introducing solids, he stopped drinking milk well. Now at over 6 months old, he only drinks about 600ml of milk per day. Is this too little? Currently, I add two solid meals daily: fruit in the morning and one egg yolk in the afternoon. Is this correct?
Without knowing the baby's weight, it's hard to judge, but based on the average weight for this age, the milk intake seems a bit low.Solid foods can be offered once or twice daily, but keep portions small—just enough for tasting. Avoid filling the baby with solids, as this will inevitably reduce milk intake. Limit each serving to 10–30 grams; consider replacing fruit with vegetable puree.
