Among adult women, 70% of highly literate women marry before age 34, versus 60% of less literate women.The study also found that 78% of highly literate individuals owned their own homes, compared to only 42% of those with low literacy. The research concluded that the key to securing happiness lies in improving one's reading ability. The findings state: "Enhancing reading skills can guarantee lifelong happiness."
