Exfoliate weekly for daily smoothness
Choose a granular body scrub specifically formulated for exfoliation. Gently massage in circular motions using your fingertips. Follow with a high-oil, deeply moisturizing hand cream. Wear gloves or wrap hands in plastic wrap to seal in moisture, allowing the cream to be fully absorbed.
1. For hangnails, regularly soak hands in warm olive oil (microwave-heated). If improvement doesn't occur, supplement with Vitamin B6 or Vitamin C.
2. Brittle nails often stem from dehydration. Massage olive oil into nails before bed. For frequent nail polish users, be mindful that nail polish removers contain ingredients that roughen and weaken nails.
Try making your own plant-based hand oil.Mix refined almond oil and honey with lemon juice, then apply evenly to hands. This removes dead skin and moisturizes. After applying hand cream, massage fingers, knuckles, wrists, palms, and arms. Gently stretch fingertips, practice fist-clenching, and extend hands for 3-5 minutes.
Hand Care Routine: It's best to do this after bathing, once you've finished caring for the rest of your body. Start with foot care before moving on to your hands. Besides hand cream, you can also apply some to your feet. Some hand products are oil-based—these oily hand oils can actually make your hands drier the more you use them, so consider this before buying! For enhanced results, apply hand cream and massage thoroughly, then immediately slip on cotton gloves before bed. Wake up to hands as soft as a baby's!
Simple DIY Hand Mask
1. Prepare powdered milk (or fresh milk), banana, and olive oil.Take 5 tablespoons of powdered milk, dissolve it in warm water, and stir until smooth. You can also use fresh milk, but it needs to be warmed. Soak your hands in the milk for about 5–10 minutes.
2. Cut a banana into small pieces, place them in a bowl, and mash them into a paste with a spoon. Add one tablespoon of olive oil and mix well.
3. Apply the hand mask to the nail edges and entire hands. Rinse off with water after about 10 minutes.
Three Simple Hand Massage Techniques
1. Using the thumb and index finger of your right hand, massage the back of your left hand by drawing small circles from the base to the fingertips.
2. Massage the palm area using the same circular thumb motion to relax muscles and tendons.
3. Using your left hand as an example, massage the back of your left hand with the circular thumb motion of your right hand. Repeat this method on your right hand.
