When people hear the word "corn," they typically think of a skin condition on the soles of the feet. The idea of developing a corn on the hand may seem novel, yet it is indeed possible. The cause of calluses on hands is identical to that on feet: localized thickening of the skin's stratum corneum. Feet develop calluses due to friction from walking, while hands develop them from prolonged labor and excessive friction. So how can calluses on hands be removed? Below is a brief introduction for reference.
1. Green Walnut Removal Method. Rub the affected area with green walnuts (walnuts with green husks harvested in late spring or autumn) several times daily for about 10 days. The callus will turn dark purple and typically fall off naturally within 20 days.
2. Black Plum Method. Take 4 black plums (available at pharmacies). Soak them in vinegar for over 12 hours (avoid using metal containers). Remove the plums, peel one, and apply the flesh directly to the corn. Secure with adhesive tape, changing the dressing daily.Typically, the corn will detach from its socket within 3-4 days.
III. Asparagus Fern Leaf Removal Method. Soak the affected area in lightly salted warm water. Use a small knife to scrape off the hardened skin. Take an appropriate amount of asparagus fern leaves, wash them, crush them into a paste, and apply to the affected area. Secure with gauze. Change the dressing every 2 days. Generally, 3 applications will cure it.
IV. Medication: Corn Removal Cream Method.
Method/Steps:
1. Thoroughly clean the corn area and gently massage the surrounding healthy skin.
2. After cleaning, pat dry with a towel, lightly wiping the corn area.
3. Apply 1-2 drops of Corn Removal Solution and gently spread it with a cotton swab to form a thin film over the corn.
4. Wait 5 minutes until sufficient solution penetrates the corn area, then rinse clean again.
Precautions: Avoid rubbing or squeezing the corn to prevent separation. Keep it isolated from external objects.
4. Wait 5 minutes until sufficient penetration occurs, then rinse thoroughly again.
Precautions: Avoid rubbing or squeezing the corn to prevent separation from surrounding skin; maintain hygiene during cleaning to prevent infection; refrain from consuming spicy, irritating, or dispersing foods (chili peppers, garlic, fish, etc.) to prevent recurrence.
