Weight loss is a common goal for many women, yet conventional methods often yield limited results and lead to rebound weight gain. What can be done? Laser lipolysis offers an effective solution for targeted fat reduction. So, what does the pre-procedure preparation process entail? Let's explore.
Pre-Procedure Preparation for Laser Lipolysis:
1. Medical Examination: Before undergoing laser lipolysis, undergo routine tests including ultrasound and electrocardiogram. Individuals with hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease are contraindicated for the procedure. Additionally, assess your fat thickness—only those with subcutaneous fat exceeding 1cm are suitable candidates. If subcutaneous fat is less than 1cm, conventional weight loss through diet and exercise is recommended.
2. Body Contouring Marking: The doctor will mark the areas requiring fat reduction based on your body structure and proportions to ensure satisfactory results after fat dissolution.
4. Post-Irradiation Negative Pressure Drainage: After laser treatment, solid fat in the targeted areas is liquefied. The body can naturally absorb up to 200ml of the resulting oil. Excess oil beyond this volume is removed via negative pressure drainage. A 0.3cm needle is used to extract the oil from discreet locations near the treatment area, minimizing visible impact.
