Many girls focus too much on the upper eyelid and upper eyeliner when doing Japanese-style big eye makeup, often neglecting the lower eyelid, lower eyeliner, and other areas around the eyes.Truth is, achieving a flawless Japanese-style big eye look requires more than just defining the upper eyelid and upper lash line. You also need to perfect your base makeup, eyebrows, lower lash line, and lip makeup!
1. Base Makeup
To create a beautiful Japanese-style big eye look, you first need a flawless, even complexion—making base makeup essential.Start with a layer of BB cream or foundation to conceal minor skin imperfections like fine lines and spots. Remember to keep the base light and sheer. Additionally, apply a touch of light pink blush to the apples of your cheeks!
2.Eyebrows
Trim excess hair to shape neat, attractive brows. Then use eyebrow powder matching your hair color to define them.
3. Lower Eyeliner
Use liquid eyeliner or pencil to trace the lash line. Let the outer corner naturally droop. Lightly draw a thin, faint line along the outer half of the lower lash line.This enhances eye definition and reduces puffiness.
4. Lips
Choose a highly moisturizing lipstick. Apply lip gloss over the lipstick for plumper, more vibrant lips.
IV. How to Achieve Japanese-Style Big Eyes Makeup
1. Apply a dark eyeshadow (like golden brown) as a base color across the eyelid, blending it lightly and evenly from the eyelid to the brow bone;
2. Sweep brown or dark coffee-colored shadow evenly across the eyelid from the inner corner to the outer corner. Apply slightly wider than the inner double eyelid crease and blend upward at the outer corner to create a shadow effect;
3. Apply highlighter powder under the brow bone and pearlescent eyeshadow at the inner corner to enhance dimensionality;
4. Using a black eyeliner pencil, draw a thin line along the lash line. Gradually thicken it toward the outer corner, extending it horizontally. Apply eyeliner to the inner third of the lower lash line, extending it to the outer corner and slightly flaring upward. Lightly fill in the outer edge of the lower lash line.
5. Apply silver-white eyeliner from the lower lash line to the outer corner to enhance softness and dimension;
6. Curl lashes to achieve a natural upward curve;
7. Select false lashes of suitable length and apply them to both upper and lower lash lines for maximum length and volume. When applying lower lashes, start from the outer corner and attach each individual lash evenly spaced;
