Fourth, the son and daughter-in-law fight constantly, disrupting the peace of the household. No mother-in-law can help but be troubled by this. Sometimes, even when she knows the daughter-in-law is at fault, she must instead scold her own son.
Fifth, the daughter-in-law sits idle at home all day, constantly nitpicking about household matters. The mother-in-law observes this silently, unable to speak up, and can only grumble in private.

Sixth, a man left unchecked will inevitably go astray, but a woman who controls her husband too strictly is also problematic.When a son loses all semblance of manhood in front of his wife, a mother's heart aches at the sight. Seventh, constant arguments between son and daughter-in-law, even escalating to physical altercations. A mother-in-law cannot stand by and do nothing. Yet what pains them more is when the daughter-in-law lashes out at them too. As elders, they naturally cannot engage in petty quarrels with their daughter-in-law.Eighth, many young brides today show little interest in having children. As elders, they naturally hope to hold a grandchild sooner rather than later. This creates inevitable tension, leaving mothers-in-law to watch helplessly, their hearts filled with anxiety. Ninth, a daughter-in-law giving birth should be cause for celebration, and a mother-in-law should be overjoyed.Yet the child is often taken back to the daughter-in-law's parents' home to be raised, making it difficult for the grandmother to even see the grandchild. This is perhaps the most heartbreaking moment for the elderly.
Tenth, the most remarkable aspect of being a mother-in-law is raising not only her son but also her grandchildren. Most grandchildren are raised by their grandmothers, and this process brings no shortage of troubles. Yet despite the hardships, they must tirelessly continue their duties.
