Nose Passage Point (also known as Upper Yingxiang Point)
Location: On the face, at the junction of the alar cartilage and nasal concha.
Function: Primarily treats nasal congestion, rhinitis, and sinusitis.
Method: Apply pressure with the pad of the middle finger for 1-2 minutes.
Yingxiang Point (Yingxiang)
Location: Beside the midpoint of the outer edge of the nostril, at the nasolabial groove. Draw a horizontal line from the midpoint of the outer nostril edge; the intersection with the nasolabial groove (the shallow groove naturally formed between the nose and outer lip when smiling) is the point.
Function: Clears heat, dispels wind, and opens nasal passages. Treats nasal congestion, rhinitis, epistaxis, diminished sense of smell, and other nasal disorders.
Method: Apply pressure with the pad of the index finger for 1–2 minutes.
Yintang Point
Location: On the forehead, at the midpoint between the eyebrows.
Benefits: Clears nasal passages and opens orifices, clears the head and brightens the eyes. Primarily treats rhinitis, nasal congestion, headaches, dizziness, and related conditions.
Method: Massage with the middle or index finger for 1–2 minutes.
