Especially her eyes lack vitality and have puffiness.At first glance, you'd guess she's either approaching 40 or at least 30, right? Now let's dive into her makeup techniques!
Step 1: Foundation
Using the 5-point method, dab foundation suited to your skin tone onto your face. Gently pat outward from the center until fully blended.
Step 2:Concealer
To cover dark circles and under-eye bags, apply concealer along the lower edge of the bags and the darkest areas under the eyes. Use a thick line and gently pat it out—avoid covering the entire eyelid to prevent a heavy, unnatural look.
For blemishes, dab concealer directly onto spots and blend it in!Always blend by patting, never rubbing!
After concealing, your skin will look noticeably brighter and more refined!
Step 3: Contouring
Contouring helps slim wider nostrils. Use the brown shade shown above along the sides of your nose! Doesn't your nose look instantly more defined?
Step 4: Eye Makeup
Today's focus is eye makeup! My eyes tend to look puffy with thicker upper lids, so warm tones are especially unflattering—they make puffiness worse. If cool tones feel too plain, layer warm shades strategically. Crucially, avoid warm colors like red or pink on the mid-to-outer eye area—it'll make you look like you've been punched!
Apply light gray as a base
Start by applying light gray all over the eyelid, blending it toward the outer corner. This area tends to be puffier and needs color correction, but don't apply too much or it will look messy! The effect looks very natural when your eyes are open.
Then apply dark brown to the middle and outer sections of the upper eyelid, blending outward.
Apply eyeliner
Next, draw eyeliner. Use an eyeliner pencil to extend the line as close to the socket as possible. Keep the line level—no downward flick.
Apply white eyeliner
Start with white eyeliner on the lower lash line to widen the eyes, then add black. I prefer starting from the center, locating the pupil first and beginning the line near it—this makes the eyes appear more vibrant.
Blend black eyeshadow along the liner
Blend black eyeshadow along the entire length of the liner, both top and bottom. This softens the liner's edges.
Use silver eyeliner to create an eye curve
Since my eyes are close-set, I use silver eyeliner to create a curved shape. This makes my eyes resemble a crescent moon! Almond-shaped eyes! Compared to before, the difference is huge, right? That's the magic of makeup! Next comes mascara. I'm not a fan of false lashes—mascara is my go-to!It looks natural for any occasion!
Lips
The blush application is pretty standard, so I'll skip that! Finally, a note on lips. While nude lips are trendy now, I believe what suits you best is key—any trend can have your personal touch. My lips are thin, so I still use a lip liner pencil, long-forgotten by trends, but not to outline—just to fill in a bit!Then I apply a sheer lip gloss—this gives my lips incredible definition!
