Radiesse® Contouring Filler contains 30% microcrystalline spheres suspended in a 70% liquid gel carrier. When injected into tissue, these microcrystalline spheres form a scaffold while the liquid gel is gradually absorbed.Simultaneously, newly generated collagen replaces the gel matrix, binding with the Radiesse microsphere scaffold to form a stable filler structure. This structure persists within human tissue for 18-24 months before being completely metabolized into calcium and phosphate ions, leaving no residual material.
Advantages of Radiesse:
1. Long-lasting results: Compared to other injectable products, it provides extended duration.
2. Natural contouring: The new-generation microcrystalline ceramic spheres create natural, three-dimensional contours.
3. Biocompatibility and safety: Non-animal and non-human-derived product, eliminating risks of disease or allergies from implanted materials.
4. Minimal displacement: Stable synthetic formula stimulates collagen regeneration, prolonging treatment results and reducing displacement.
5. Biodegradable: Non-permanent, biocompatible, and fully degradable.
6. Minimal Recovery: Fine-gauge needle injection minimizes micro-trauma and recovery time.
Pre-Treatment Considerations:
Microcrystalline Ceramic is contraindicated for individuals with:
1. Ineligibility for injectable cosmetic procedures;
2. Patients with severe allergy history, autoimmune diseases, keloid-prone skin, active infections, or acute skin conditions at the injection site;
3. Individuals currently taking Aspirin or Warfarin;
4. Individuals under 18 years of age;
5. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Post-procedure precautions:
1. Avoid touching the injection site for 24 hours to allow shape stabilization;
2. Refrain from high-temperature environments or excessive sun exposure for one week until swelling and redness subside;
3. Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or hot baths until follow-up consultation;
4. Minimize makeup and unnecessary skincare products unless medically advised;
5. If currently taking aspirin or similar medications, consult your physician.
4. Unless necessary, the physician advises avoiding makeup and unnecessary skincare products.
5. If currently taking aspirin or similar medications, note this may increase bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Temporarily discontinue use and resume after recovery.
