Condoms generally have a shelf life of five years, while medicated condoms last three years. 1. Always check the production date and expiration date before use. Expired condoms have deteriorated, are prone to breaking, and should not be used.
2. Condoms must be stored in a cool, dry environment away from acids, alkalis, and oils. If they become sticky or brittle after exposure to these conditions, they should not be used even if within the expiration date.
3. Condoms come in different sizes. Choose the appropriate size based on the erect penis size. Otherwise, a condom that is too tight may break, while one that is too loose may slip off, both affecting effectiveness.
4.Do not pre-unroll the condom. Instead, unroll it smoothly from the glans downward over the erect penis. 5. Before placing the condom over the glans, pinch the reservoir tip to remove air. This prevents the air from expanding with body heat, which could cause semen to leak toward the base of the penis during ejaculation. 6. Only water-based lubricants should be used with condoms.Vaseline, liquid paraffin, facial oils, cooking oils, etc., can increase condom brittleness in a short time, accelerating breakage;
7.If a condom tears or slips off during use, replacing it alone is insufficient. Immediately stop intercourse and cleanse the genitals with a disinfectant. 8. After ejaculation, hold the base of the condom with your fingers and withdraw it along with the penis before it becomes flaccid. 9. When removing the condom, prevent semen from spilling out and avoid contact between vaginal secretions on the condom's exterior and your body.Each condom is for single use only. Dispose of used condoms in a plastic bag and place it in the trash. 10. Fingers used to remove the condom will inevitably come into contact with both semen and vaginal secretions. Therefore, wash hands immediately with soap and water under running water.
