Experts have measured radiation levels from common household appliances. Results show significant variations in radiation emitted by devices like hair dryers, cell phones, and routers during different operational states. Improper use can cause certain harm to the body.
When a mobile phone is connected
Experimental data shows that radiation levels fluctuate around 10μW/cm² when the phone screen is off, rise to approximately 100μW/cm² when the screen is on, and reach 200–300μW/cm² during calls. Hair Dryers at Close Range
Experimental data shows radiation levels increase with higher settings. At maximum power, radiation reached 17.3μT—less than one-fifth of the national standard.Radiation levels are also affected by distance. At medium setting, radiation near the dryer measures 8.6–8.9 μT, while at 20 cm it drops to 0.963 μT and at 30 cm to 0.2 μT.Gao Yougang explained that closer proximity means greater power output and higher electromagnetic radiation.
