Due to malnutrition, Xiao Jian developed bladder stones. His mother sought medical help everywhere. Later, she heard about a folk remedy involving dietary therapy that others had tried with good results. Upon obtaining this recipe, she immediately prepared it for Xiao Jian. Below is the method for this dietary remedy.
Steps/Method:
1. First, purchase alfalfa and japonica rice from a supermarket or market. Prepare appropriate amounts of lard, salt, and MSG. Once preparations are complete, proceed.
2. Take 200 grams of alfalfa. Wash thoroughly and chop into small pieces. Heat lard in a pan, add the alfalfa, and stir-fry until separated. Season with salt and MSG to taste, then set aside.
3. Take 100 grams of japonica rice. Rinse thoroughly and add to a pot with 1000 grams of water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer into a thin porridge.
4. Once the porridge is ready, add the prepared alfalfa mixture from step 2. Stir gently to combine. Serve warm.
5. Repeat this process daily for 10 consecutive days.
3. Take 100 grams of japonica rice. Rinse thoroughly, place in a pot, add 1000 grams of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer into a thin porridge. Stir in the alfalfa mixture. Consume one serving daily while warm.
Precautions:
Develop the habit of drinking ample water, ideally 1500-2000 milliliters daily. Increase intake of fruits and vegetables. Maintain a diet that is light, low in protein, and low in fat.
Urinary tract infections and obstruction are the most common causes of bladder stones. Treatment must prioritize stone removal while preventing inflammation and complications. Patients undergoing treatment should strictly observe the following precautions to avoid hindering recovery:
Prioritize stone management by limiting oxalate-rich vegetables like spinach and beetroot, as calcium oxalate is the primary component of urinary stones. Avoid strong tea; opt for light tea or water instead. Increase water intake, especially for manual laborers or those working in high temperatures. Reduce salt consumption and maintain a light diet. Minimize animal protein sources, including meat and organ meats.
Avoid excessive eating and drinking, limiting overconsumption of nutrients. Binge eating often involves high-protein, high-sugar, and high-fat diets, which increase the risk of stone formation. Regularly incorporate more whole grains and plant-based foods into your diet.
Opt for light vegetables and consume more watermelon, winter melon, pears, fresh lotus root, and similar foods;
