Back fat is a common concern that significantly impacts one's appearance and can be psychologically distressing for beauty-conscious women. Hence, many pursue back slimming. Currently, numerous methods exist for back fat reduction, among which back liposuction offers the most effective results.
1. Back liposuction typically employs the tumescent technique (a method characterized by effective anesthesia, high fat removal volume, minimal tissue damage, reduced bleeding, and surgical safety). This involves injecting a saline solution containing both anesthetic and fat-dissolving agents directly into the target area. The injection volume and technique are carefully controlled based on the thickness of the fat layer to be removed. The primary focus of back liposuction is often the lateral areas, specifically where the back meets the armpits.
2. Immediately after back liposuction, wearing compression garments or elastic bandages helps reduce bruising and should be maintained for at least 3 to 6 months. Adequate rest for about a week is necessary to minimize the risk of postoperative bleeding. Some patients may experience drainage soaking through the dressing on the day of surgery. In such cases, place absorbent materials under the dressing locally; there is no need to replace the soaked dressing. On the third day, the dressing can be removed, and the incision or needle puncture sites can be covered with adhesive bandages. If the skin in the liposuction area becomes dry, apply moisturizing cream.
