Recently, 42-year-old host and entertainer O'Day announced on his personal social media platform that he and Zheng Yuncang have divorced, bringing their six-year marriage to an end.
In his statement, O'Day said: "After over six years of adjustment and communication, it is regrettable that we were unable to find a better way to coexist. It is with regret that we inform everyone... we have completed the divorce proceedings."
He added: "Since fate brought us together as spouses and parents... but we can no longer continue, parting peacefully is what we believe is best for our child and each other." He also emphasized that he and Zheng Yuncang will remain "family for life."
Regarding their child, Ou Di remarked, "Better to have two parents capable of giving more love than one unhappy couple in the world," implying joint custody. He concluded by wishing each other well and requesting privacy.
In contrast to Ou Di's divorce statement, Zheng Yuncan's social media showed no signs of marital discord—she continued sharing tips on using an air fryer. Some netizens examined their Weibo interactions but found no trace of Ou Di-related posts on Zheng Yuncan's account. Others noticed both had long set their Weibo visibility to "visible for the past six months," though this had gone unnoticed until now.
Ou Di and Zheng Yuncan had been married for over six years, with the wife being eight years younger than the husband. They held their official wedding ceremony in May 2015, followed by the birth of their daughter Jojo that same year, making Ou Di a father. In 2018, Ou Di announced on social media that Zheng Yuncan was expecting their second child, and in August of that year, he announced the birth of their second daughter.
