It also significantly reduces the risk of accidents like aspiration or falls. Comprehensive care should address both motor and non-motor symptoms, encompassing medication management, dietary guidance, psychological support, and rehabilitation training.Educate patients on medication usage and precautions to avoid adverse drug reactions; develop targeted dietary plans to improve nutritional status and alleviate symptoms like constipation; promptly assess psychological well-being, provide positive guidance to regulate negative emotions, and enhance quality of life. Collaborate with family members to encourage rehabilitation exercises, thereby maintaining motor function and improving self-care abilities.
There is no universally fixed treatment protocol for Parkinson's disease. Treatment needs vary among patients and even within the same patient across different disease stages. Scientists worldwide are actively exploring improved therapies. Beyond developing new drugs, breakthroughs in gene therapy and neural stem cell transplantation hold promise for offering enhanced treatment options to Parkinson's patients in the future.
