Global technology leader Merck announced on May 22 the official launch of its distribution center in Chengdu, Sichuan. This marks Merck's enhanced logistics capabilities in China's life sciences sector and improved customer experience.Merck will deliver biochemical reagents and laboratory analytical reagents more swiftly to customers in western China, supporting scientific research.

To ensure high-quality product delivery, the Chengdu Distribution Center is equipped with diverse storage facilities meeting various temperature-controlled requirements, including multi-temperature zones such as constant temperature, cool, refrigerated, and frozen storage.The first batch of products delivered to customers includes laboratory analytical reagents and consumables for testing in pharmaceutical, food, environmental, and research laboratories. It also features high-performance materials reagents for research and industrial applications, along with foundational reagents for broader use across research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and industrial sectors. Additional products will be added to the inventory in the near future.
