Data reveals that among surveyed young men, 10% prefer women wearing no jewelry at all; 30% advocate women should not wear any bracelets. If jewelry is worn, 65% of men favor platinum or silver pieces, while 23% prefer gold jewelry;46% prefer jade bracelets, while 24% favor gold or silver bracelets. 63% appreciate delicate, aesthetically pleasing jewelry, disliking "heavy" pieces as they may appear ostentatious.
Additionally, 94% dislike women wearing more than two rings; 75% agree women should wear no more than three pieces of valuable jewelry. 76% prefer women wearing long, colorful earrings, while only 37% favor short studs—less than half the former preference.
Of course, 55% of men find navel piercings and jewelry, as seen among Indian women, highly sensual. Remarkably, 23% find nipple piercings particularly alluring. Another 16% consider lip piercings exceptionally unique—it's worth noting these were once common customs among certain African tribal women.
Wearing high heels is also a form of self-indulgence for women. 37% dislike women—especially shorter women—wearing excessively high heels, while 52% believe women of average height or taller look more natural and pleasing in flat shoes during work hours.
Appearance Matters
Many believe a woman's beauty hinges on her aura. Yet for men, the "sexy woman" requires attention to hairstyle, makeup, shoes, and perfume.
For instance, among these 100 young men, 81% prefer women with long hair, while only 11% favor short hair. Additionally, 34% disapprove of women dyeing their hair.
89% approve of women grooming their nails, as it signifies emotional sensitivity and domestic care. Among them, 51% prefer clear, glossy nail polish, while 32% favor matching toenail polish.However, 19% dislike long nails, 21% dislike overly red or bright nail polish, and 27% dislike gold foil on fingernails—despite its recent popularity as a Western trend.
Makeup significantly enhances women's appearance, yet 33% of these men prefer women—especially younger ones—to go without it.Among men who support makeup, 55% favor light makeup, 21% prefer heavy makeup, 24% disapprove of eye shadow, and 18% dislike lipstick—especially bright red shades.
Regarding skin tone, 75% dislike fair-skinned women, instead favoring sun-kissed tans.However, a high 92% also stated they dislike excessively dark skin, as it "completely destroys femininity."
While women commonly assume men prefer perfume scents, more men actually find "a woman's natural body scent the most beautiful"! Among surveyed men, 25% prefer women to wear no perfume at all.Of course, 30% still prefer strong scents like musk, while 26% favor light fragrances. Additionally, 46% like women wearing trench coats; 35% disapprove of excessively short skirts; 26% believe "pants are more flattering than skirts";61% deemed hats an essential accessory for women; 61% liked women wearing glasses, as they often appear more composed and intelligent, though 37% disliked sunglasses—they believed they made women look particularly out of place.
A surprising 30% even find women more sensual without undergarments. Meanwhile, 70% believe form-fitting outerwear significantly enhances feminine appeal; 89% prefer women wearing lace-trimmed underwear; 67% dislike women using overly padded bras; and 50% find women wearing sheer silk or cotton lingerie highly sensual.
"Enhancement" is controversial
While "natural beauty" remains a timeless aesthetic ideal, modern individuals increasingly favor "enhancing" themselves for visual appeal—through tattoos, eyebrow embroidery, breast augmentation, and similar practices.
73% of men approve of women having tattoos—among them, 46% prefer tattoos on the back, 33% on the chest, while the rest favor tattoos on the buttocks or legs. However, 23% strongly dislike tattoos on women, particularly on the arms, as it reminds them of "bad women" associated with organized crime.
Eyebrow tattoos remain generally acceptable, with nearly 70% of men finding them cute on women, though most oppose overly thin or elongated designs.
While 80% of men prefer women with "firm" breasts and find higher-positioned nipples more attractive, a staggering 94% find excessively large breasts "utterly unappealing."and 65% disapprove of women undergoing breast augmentation surgery.
Even rarely "exposed" body hair remains a key element of "sexiness": 95% of men approve of women shaving noticeable arm, leg, and back hair, while 67% find thick pubic hair highly attractive.
