Psychological Analysis of Lovers' Irrational Tantrums

For instance, when a man gets drunk at a social gathering and calls a woman while intoxicated, she might assume he's with a prostitute since he didn't contact her earlier. She deliberately ignores his call. At this point, the man finds himself unable to explain the situation, a truly helpless predicament. Some men with better temperaments patiently explain, while others simply ignore it—let them think whatever they want. If you don't believe the truth, what can I do? Such situations reveal a lack of trust from one side and a lack of understanding from the other.
For those who drink: 1. It might be for business, not because they want to.2. When they pass out drunk, it's bad enough no one cares, but then comes a pile of troubles—misunderstandings, misinterpretations, slander... When they sober up, they're faced with helplessness, occasionally feeling bitter and desolate, ending only with sighs... Believe me, they wish their partner could understand them more.
Other unreasonable incidents include:
1. Misunderstandings based on trivial matters: Grasping at minor details, blowing them out of proportion, and picking fights over nothing. Such partners often feel insecure in the relationship and seek reassurance of their status and value—hence the unreasonable behavior.
2. Deliberately fabricated misunderstandings: When the facts are crystal clear, the other person insists on conjuring up wild, distorted interpretations they deem as truth. This is both laughable and infuriating, driving some impatient individuals to cut off communication entirely. Therefore, using such tactics to test one's standing in a relationship is both risky and unnecessary. When misunderstandings arise in a relationship, they should be clarified. If these misunderstandings do not harm either party and involve no deception, why not simply resolve them peacefully? Why stir up trouble just to see if the other person values or cares about you?
3.Misunderstandings Born of Subjective Assumptions: Some partners fabricate issues based on their own subjective assumptions. Differences in cultural customs or unfamiliarity with local dialects can trigger unease, leading them to interpret others' words as hostile, unwelcoming, or even hateful. They then react with anger and accusations. In reality, these are self-invented scenarios, yet they demand explanations from the other party—explanations they won't accept anyway. Such individuals are unreasonable. At their core, they seek reassurance to dispel their doubts, or they sense unfavorable factors looming. The root cause may be a fear of losing the other person, compelling them to cling tightly for security.
When two people fall in love, misunderstandings inevitably arise if they fail to truly know, understand, and cherish each other. Insufficient understanding and communication inevitably breed confusion. Yet no one can constantly pamper and coddle their partner, ensuring perpetual sweetness. Therefore, relationships that avoid emotional turbulence are inherently unstable and may vanish at any moment.
Those who wish to preserve their relationships should avoid unreasonable tantrums. Instead, adopt a different approach: generosity, openness, reflection, tolerance, understanding... and learn to appreciate your partner.
