However, their drawbacks include high energy consumption, inability to operate dry, lower safety ratings, and susceptibility to scale buildup on the heating element.Market prospects are not optimistic. Comparing the three types: Electric humidifiers eliminate "white powder" residue and operate quietly but consume significant power and are prone to scale buildup. Pure humidifiers also prevent "white powder" and scale formation, feature low power consumption, incorporate air circulation systems, and can filter air while eliminating bacteria.
Ultrasonic humidifiers deliver strong and uniform humidification with low power consumption and long service life. They also serve multiple functions like medical nebulization, cold facial compresses, and jewelry cleaning. Therefore, ultrasonic and pure-type humidifiers remain the recommended top choices.
Usage Precautions
1. Allow the unit to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before initial operation.
2. Operate within ambient temperatures of 10-40°C (50-104°F).
3. Use clean water below 40°C (104°F).
4. Keep away from other appliances while in operation.
5. Do not add non-professional additives to the water.
6. Avoid placing the humidifier on hollow objects to prevent resonance noise.
7. Do not operate the unit without water. Ultrasonic humidifiers convert electrical energy into mechanical energy via transducers. An oscillation circuit generates 1.7 million high-frequency vibrations per second, directly converting water into ultra-fine particles <5 microns. A fan then disperses these water molecules into the surrounding air.The transducer surface easily accumulates mineral deposits during operation. Failure to perform regular maintenance and cleaning will increase the transducer's operational load, causing the machine to malfunction. We recommend using distilled or purified water to effectively extend the machine's lifespan.
Strictly prohibit any additives in the humidifier water tank: Humidifiers differ from aromatherapy diffusers. Standard humidifiers are not corrosion-resistant. Adding substances not only compromises long-term functionality but may also pose health risks.
