Sobering up refers to recovering from intoxication, regaining consciousness or self-control. Naturally, the human body detoxifies alcohol through oxygen metabolism, achieving sobriety—essentially using oxygen to counteract drunkenness.
Radish method:
Crush 500g fresh radish to extract juice. Drink the entire amount at once, or consume an appropriate amount of raw white radish to achieve sobering effects.
Mung Bean Method:
Boil 50g mung beans with 10g licorice root and an appropriate amount of brown sugar. This decoction helps sober up. Using mung beans alone in a decoction also has some efficacy.
Sugar Water Method:
Dissolve an appropriate amount of white sugar in boiling water. This solution helps alleviate intoxication and refresh the mind.
Vinegar Method:
Boil 50g rice vinegar or aged vinegar with 25g brown sugar and 3 slices of ginger. Drinking this decoction reduces alcohol's harm to the body.
Lotus Root Method:
Pound fresh lotus root into juice and drink it to alleviate drunkenness symptoms.
Sweet Potato Hangover Remedy:
After intoxication, finely chop raw sweet potatoes, mix with white sugar, and consume to alleviate drunkenness.
Milk Hangover Remedy:
Drink milk to coagulate proteins, protect the stomach lining, and slow alcohol absorption.
