Movement: Stand naturally with feet shoulder-width apart. Bend knees to a 90-degree angle, arms extended forward. Chest out, abdomen tucked in, buttocks lifted, back straight. Perform 3-4 sets per session, with 15-20 repetitions per set.
Tip: For X-shaped legs, practice this movement with feet turned inward. For O-shaped legs, practice with feet turned outward. Different postures can improve leg shape.
2. Single-Leg Back Kick
Action: Lie prone, lift your upper body using your elbows for support. Extend your arms forward on the mat with your abdomen touching the floor. Keep your head naturally extended forward, eyes looking straight ahead. Lift your left leg upward, pointing your toes, then lower it. Repeat twice before switching to the right leg for two repetitions. Alternate legs for a total of 12 repetitions.
Tip: This exercise tightens the hamstrings, firms the legs, and strengthens core muscles.
3. Seated Leg Kicks
Action: Sit against a chair back with legs together. Slowly lift thighs until parallel to the floor, hold for 2 seconds.
Tip:This exercise targets excess fat on the front of the thighs. Lift slowly, engaging the thigh muscles to drive the movement. Use a chair slightly higher than your legs, aiming to keep them off the ground.Perform 8-12 repetitions on one leg before switching sides.
Tip: Keep your knee aligned over your toes when bending. Ensure the rear heel remains lifted. This exercise not only tones excess fat on the front and back of the thighs but also enhances glute definition.
5. Side Kick
Movement: Lie on your left side with your left elbow supporting your body.Slightly bend your left leg, then lift it upward to form a 45-degree angle with the floor. Lower it back down. Repeat this movement slowly 20 times. Switch sides and repeat the exercise. Tip: This leg-slimming exercise tightens the inner and outer thigh muscles, improving leg shape. When lifting your leg, aim to keep it as straight as possible, with your toes pointed.
