Gynecological tumors pose a significant threat to women's health, and their development is closely linked to dietary habits. Experts recently cautioned against underestimating chili peppers and iced beverages. Long-term consumption not only increases the risk of gynecological tumors but also complicates conception. Over half of patients with complex infertility issues are attributed to prolonged intake of spicy foods and cold drinks.
A long-term preference for spicy foods irritates the gastrointestinal tract, causing localized recurrent congestion and edema, which leads to constipation. Consequently, bacteria from fecal matter trapped in the intestines can enter the fallopian tubes and ovaries through capillaries and lymphatic vessels, causing adnexitis and even fallopian tube blockage.
Washing down spicy food with ice water is even more harmful. Cold water causes blood to pool in the intestines and pelvic cavity, potentially triggering menstrual cramps and irregular periods. The uterus may shrink and harden, significantly increasing the risk of gynecological tumors like polycystic ovaries, ovarian cysts, and adenomyosis, which greatly elevate infertility rates.More critically, infertility caused by pelvic congestion often goes undetected by ultrasound or gynecological exams, frequently misdiagnosed as menstrual irregularities.
For health, women should maintain a consistently light diet and avoid prolonged consumption of heavily seasoned foods.
