1. Abdominal Vibration Hug
This technique is extremely easy to learn and simple to perform.It can be performed at home, in the office, while riding in a vehicle, or on an airplane, unrestricted by environmental conditions.
Method: Relax and cross your hands to form a semi-spherical shape. Place the bases of both palms against the Daicheng acupoints (one palm-width to either side of the navel). Position both little fingers against the Guanyuan acupoint (four finger-widths below the navel).Place both thumbs on the Zhongwan acupoint (one palm-width above the navel). Gently press down on the abdomen, performing small, rapid up-and-down movements (over 150 times per minute). Repeat 1-2 times daily. Beyond weight loss, this technique also helps lower blood sugar, relieve constipation, and reduce blood pressure.
2. Abdominal Rubbing
Lie supine. Overlap both palms, using the navel as the center. Rub clockwise across the middle and lower abdomen until warmth is felt internally. Continue for about 5 minutes.
3. Kneading the Abdomen
Grasp the abdominal skin and tissue, including deep fat layers, with one hand. Knead in a clockwise direction while maintaining the grip (i.e., kneading while holding). Continue for about 5 minutes. The first two sessions should be slightly painful.
