Scarless Brow Lift Procedure
What is a Scarless Brow Lift?
A brow lift involves partial excision of imperfect eyebrows and surrounding skin to create an ideal brow shape. Concurrently, the incision can be utilized for upper eyelid fat removal and orbital fat extraction, along with corrugator muscle resection to address puffy upper lids and troublesome glabellar wrinkles. The Korean high-molecular-weight subcutaneous thread eyebrow lift technique employs textile synthetic sutures made from world-class polyolactic acid biomaterials. Based on the principles of human muscle growth structure, these biomaterial sutures are automatically absorbed by the skin during healing. Post-surgery, no suture removal is required, and no scars are left behind.

Design
is crucial. Surgeons should thoroughly communicate with patients to reach mutual agreement before proceeding. Generally, eyebrows should not be completely removed; at least the hair at the inner brow area should be preserved to ensure a natural-looking result. The incision should be positioned as low as possible along the lower edge of the eyebrow to minimize future scar visibility. For brow lift procedures requiring an incision above the eyebrow, the incision line should be designed to closely follow the upper edge of the eyebrow. The width of the excised area should not be excessive, typically less than 5mm, and should not exceed 10mm at its widest point.
Incision
The scalpel should be perpendicular to the skin, requiring particular attention at the brow ridge where the skin has a natural curvature. When making incisions along the brow margin, ensure they run parallel to the direction of hair growth to minimize damage to the hair follicles.
Dissection
Eyebrow reduction surgery typically requires dissection on both sides of the incision rather than direct closure. Ensure consistent tissue thickness on both sides during dissection, paying particular attention within 3mm of the incision margin to achieve uniformity. Both sides are generally dissected to bring the incision edges toward the center, whereas eyebrow lift procedures may dissect only the lower half for efficiency.
Suturing
For brow lift surgery suturing: A subcutaneous layer must be sutured to reduce tension. If necessary, additional sutures may be placed in the dermis. Accurate alignment during suturing is crucial to prevent unexpected scarring.
Bandaging
For brow lift surgery bandaging: Elastic bandages are recommended to minimize postoperative bleeding and swelling.
