If your lashes are: Short and thick
Lengthening and tinted mascaras are your best choice. Apply mascara only to the tips of your lashes, skipping the roots.
If your lashes are: Short and sparse
For short, sparse lashes, the best approach is to choose a lengthening mascara and apply two coats. Apply the first coat only at the roots. Once dry, apply a second coat, covering the entire length of the lashes.
If your lashes are: Long and sparse
Volume-boosting mascaras work well for you, and you can also use false lashes. Apply in two layers: the first at the roots, and once dry, add the second layer to the tips.
If your lashes are: Long and thick
Choose a mascara with a comb-shaped brush. This type of brush helps separate lashes when applying. Additionally, some mascaras can add a slight curl to your lashes.
If your lashes are: very straight
If your lashes are too straight, this is where an eyelash curler comes in handy. Easy to use and portable, it instantly curls lashes. Follow up with a mascara that holds the curl and adds length.
If your lashes are sparse and patchy
Here's a great solution: apply synthetic fiber false lashes to the roots for fuller volume, then use a volumizing mascara, sweeping from root to tip.
