Keep Children Away from These Three Places—The Risks Far Exceed Your Imagination

The most challenging years of raising a child are actually the first few, as they are still developing and their immune systems are not yet fully mature. This makes them vulnerable to external harm, which can impact their physical health and growth. Especially avoid taking your little one to these three types of places:
Lively gatherings like weddings and funerals
According to traditional Chinese beliefs, very young children should not attend places where death has occurred, as it might invite evil spirits and cause illness. Setting aside this superstition, from a scientific perspective, we also advise against children attending funerals. The somber atmosphere can negatively affect a child's emotional state. Moreover, funerals often involve large crowds, increasing the risk of bacterial exposure and compromising a child's health.Beyond funerals, we also discourage children from attending weddings. The loud cacophony of firecrackers and chatter at wedding venues can be overwhelming, potentially unsettling or even frightening for young children.
Newly Opened Supermarkets
While children enjoy visiting supermarkets and shopping malls, we advise against taking them to newly opened stores. Freshly renovated spaces may contain high levels of formaldehyde and other chemicals that could harm children's health. Grand openings often feature promotional events, leading to crowded conditions where children might get accidentally injured amid the hustle and bustle.
Bars and similar venues
Among all venues, bars are the least recommended for children. With heavy smoking and drinking, dim lighting, and excessive noise, even adults find them oppressive after a short stay—let alone children.
For your child's well-being, avoid taking them to these three types of places while they are young.
