When corns appear on the feet, walking becomes painful, causing significant discomfort and disrupting daily life. To help you avoid this nuisance, we've prepared relevant information.
How to Treat Corns
1. Take one castor bean seed. Roast its outer shell over fire until oil emerges. Apply the oil directly to the corn and secure with adhesive tape.
The corn typically falls off within 5–6 days.
2. Grind 18g of dried black plum into a fine powder. Place it in a jar, add sesame oil, and steep for 7–10 days until well mixed.
Apply a 1% warm saline solution to the affected area and soak for 30 minutes. Once the thickened skin softens, trim it away. Apply the prepared ointment externally and secure with gauze.Change the dressing every 12 hours; one treatment course lasts 3 days. 3. Take an appropriate amount of tender branches from the Chinese tallow tree. Break off the petioles and collect the milky sap. Apply to the affected area twice daily in the morning for 5 minutes each time. In the evening, soak the area in hot water and scrape off the softened keratin.
4. How to treat corns? Grind equal parts of Lycium barbarum bark and safflower into a fine powder. Mix with sesame oil to form a paste. Apply to the affected area each night after a hot foot soak. Cover with non-toxic plastic wrap and secure with adhesive tape.
Change the dressing every 24 hours. One treatment course lasts 10 days. Patients may wish to try this method.
5. Grind an appropriate amount of aloe vera with a small amount of water into a paste. After soaking feet in hot water each evening, apply the paste to affected areas. Cover with plastic wrap and secure with adhesive tape. Apply once daily for a 10-day treatment cycle.
6. Apply an appropriate amount of propolis to the affected area after soaking feet in hot water each evening. Cover with gauze. Change dressing daily. One treatment course lasts 10 days.
7. Treating Corns with Mentholated Oil: Apply mentholated oil to the corn multiple times daily. Then, use a lit cigarette to smoke over the area, allowing the oil to penetrate the corn.
