Treatment principles for yellowish, bloody serous or viscous discharge caused by amoebic infection: prioritize systemic therapy combined with local management. Common medications include:
1. Carbarsene: 0.25g twice daily for 10 days per course;
2. Metronidazole: 200–400mg three times daily for 10–14 days per course;
3. Rhubarb seeds are effective for acute amoebiasis and may also be used for chronic patients and carriers. Oral administration: 10–15 seeds three times daily for 7 days per course.
Local treatment: Prepare solutions of the above medications for vaginal irrigation, or formulate powders/suppositories for vaginal insertion once daily for 7–10 days per course.
