This slimming method can be practiced at home, in the office, while riding in a vehicle, or on an airplane, unrestricted by environmental conditions. Method: Relax your hands and cross them into a semi-spherical shape. Press the bases of both palms against the bilateral Daichong acupoints (one palm-width to either side of the navel). Press both little fingers against the Guanyuan acupoint (four finger-widths below the navel).
Place both thumbs on the Zhongwan acupoint (one palm-width above the navel). Gently press down on the abdomen, performing small, rapid up-and-down movements (over 150 times per minute) 1-2 times daily. Beyond weight loss, this technique also helps lower blood sugar, relieve constipation, and reduce blood pressure.
Abdominal Kneading: Pinch the abdominal skin and tissue, including deep fat layers, with one hand. Knead in a clockwise direction while maintaining the pinch for about 5 minutes. The first two sessions should feel slightly painful.
Hegu Point Pressing: Use the thumb and index finger of one hand to firmly pinch the Hegu point (LI4) on the opposite hand. Apply pressure for about 1 minute.
