Plastic stems are stiffer and less comfortable than fishing line or cotton stems. However, they are a good choice for those with monolids or inner double eyelids, as the firmness helps lift the eyelid for better shaping.
For everyday light makeup, soft, thin-stemmed natural false eyelashes are generally preferred. They are comfortable to wear and highly invisible.
