However, these five foods should still be limited until the child turns three.
1. Nuts

For adults, this amount is negligible—barely noticeable in a dish. Therefore, even though babies can eat adult foods, prepare their meals separately with minimal salt.

Today's market offers a vast array of flavored drinks, leading some children to prefer these over plain water. However, beverages contain various food additives that can harm both adults and children when consumed excessively. Adults should minimize intake, and children should ideally avoid them altogether.Help your child develop the habit of drinking plain water, which hydrates the body and effectively quenches thirst.
IV. Snack Foods Most common snack foods on the market are junk foods that are detrimental to a child's growth. Moreover, excessive snacking can interfere with regular meals, gradually leading to bad habits like refusing rice and only eating snacks at restaurants.Don't dismiss this as exaggeration—it's not impossible for someone to skip meals entirely. I know a friend who refuses to eat rice, subsisting solely on snacks at mealtimes. Imagine the consequences of such eating habits over time.
5. Glutinous Rice Foods Like Tangyuan
While glutinous rice foods are soft and easy to chew—eliminating worries about damaging baby's teeth—their very softness means they can slip down the throat without proper chewing. However, they won't slide directly into the stomach due to their strong stickiness.Once in the throat, they stick and get lodged, causing choking just like nuts. This can lead to suffocation, so limit these foods for babies.
