If you don't have professional cleaning agents at home, try using readily available household items. Tools needed: Dish soap, 1 spray bottle with a small amount of water, 1 bowl of hot water, 1 clean cloth, kitchen paper towels Method: 1.Pour dish soap into the spray bottle with a small amount of water. Use a higher concentration—about a 1:10 ratio of soap to water—for stronger cleaning power.
3. Line the oven walls with paper towels, then spray the detergent solution directly onto the paper towels.
4. Place the large bowl of boiling water inside the oven. Close the oven door without turning on the heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
5. After 10 minutes, remove the paper towels. Don't discard them yet—gently wipe the greasy spots with a paper towel dampened in the detergent solution. The grease will come right off.
Once the oven walls are lined with paper towels, it becomes difficult to place baking sheets or racks inside. Therefore, it's recommended to clean these separately using the same method as above:
1. Spray baking sheets and racks with a slightly concentrated dish soap solution, then cover them with a layer of paper towels.
2. Spray the paper towels with dish soap solution again.
3. Place a bowl of hot water inside the oven. Let it steam for 10 minutes, then wipe everything clean.
Tips:
1. Cover both sides of the rack with paper towels. If they won't stay in place, use small clips to secure the paper towels to the rack.
2. Make sure the oven is unplugged during steaming!
3. Steaming with hot water for 10 minutes softens grease buildup with steam, making it easier to wipe away. For heavy grease, extend steaming time.
4. If grease stains are stubborn and won't come off with paper towels, use a scouring pad. But remember: never use steel wool! The oven walls and baking trays have coatings that will be destroyed by steel wool.
