The world's greatest distance
one soaring in the sky
the other diving deep beneath the sea
I've walked bridges in countless places
watched clouds pass by countless times
tasted countless kinds of wine
yet loved only one person in their prime
How can I meet you
in this most beautiful moment
For this

Beseeching him to grant us a mortal bond
So the Buddha transformed me into a tree
Growing beside the path you must take
