Frequent nocturnal emissions can lead to lethargy, dizziness, fatigue, weakness in the lower back and knees, and a sallow complexion, adversely affecting both physical and mental health. Physical therapy offers unique benefits for enhancing physical constitution, regulating nervous system function, and treating nocturnal emissions.
Below are several simple and accessible methods:
Static Half-Squat Standing Posture
Stand tall with chest out and back straight, bending knees into a quarter squat (thigh-to-calf angle approximately 120–140 degrees). Keep head and neck upright, gaze forward, arms extended horizontally in front. While maintaining this posture, press knees inward as much as possible, keeping legs, lower abdomen, and buttocks highly tense. Hold for 30 seconds, then take a few steps to relax muscles before repeating. Perform this repeatedly, adjusting repetitions as desired. Do once daily in the morning. As leg strength improves, gradually increase duration and repetitions.
Supine Abdominal Contraction with Leg and Arm Lifts
Lie supine with arms extended straight behind the head. Simultaneously lift both legs and arms upward rapidly, bringing the palms and toes to touch above the abdomen. Inhale during the lift and exhale during the return. Perform once daily in the morning and evening, completing 24–32 repetitions per session. As abdominal strength improves, gradually increase the number of repetitions.
Self-Massage Technique
Using your fingers, gently massage the Dantian point (two fingers below the navel) and the Shenshu point (on the back at the narrowest part of the waist, three fingers lateral to the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra) in alternating clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Stimulating these points helps regulate and improve sexual function.
