Urban professionals today face significant stress and unhealthy lifestyles, leaving many women in a state of suboptimal health—a condition requiring their attention. Health checkups serve to identify potential issues early for timely intervention. Many traditional Chinese medicine hospitals now offer "TCM-style health screenings," enabling women to understand their physical condition promptly and receive valuable wellness advice from practitioners.
Traditional Chinese medicine categorizes human constitutions into nine primary types: balanced, qi deficiency, yin deficiency, yang deficiency, qi stagnation, blood stasis, phlegm-dampness, damp-heat, and unique constitution. These constitutions are shaped by both innate factors and acquired influences.Only by accurately identifying one's constitution can personalized guidance for health preservation, wellness maintenance, and disease prevention be provided. Constitution identification primarily relies on health questionnaires supplemented by biochemical test results; meridian identification, however, depends on meridian testing instruments.
Health questionnaires are comprehensive, covering lifestyle habits and personal perceptions. Lifestyle habits encompass all aspects of daily living—such as the ratio of staple to non-staple foods consumed daily, daily transportation methods, exercise frequency, and sleep patterns.Personal perceptions include energy levels, bowel and bladder function, emotional state, and detailed inquiries about various physical discomforts. These may include: frequent sensitivity to cold, susceptibility to colds, persistent low mood, chest tightness or shortness of breath, abdominal bloating, craving for cold beverages, chronic fatigue, bitter taste in the mouth, edema, or skin rashes. After completing the questionnaire, the doctor enters all responses into a computer system, which automatically calculates your constitutional type.
Once all results are processed, a 13-page Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) health assessment report is generated. This report comprises two main sections: Part One includes your current health status, personal health risk assessment, disease susceptibility prediction, personalized health guidance plan, and TCM constitutional evaluation report; Part Two presents a health management analysis report based on meridian identification.
