Patients with this condition typically develop edematous erythema accompanied by erosion, bleeding, and exudation. Severe cases may present with blisters. Secondary infection can lead to ulceration covered by purulent discharge.Patients experience significant pain and tenderness. Some may also develop mild systemic symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, low-grade fever, and enlarged inguinal lymph nodes, causing discomfort.The glans penis develops localized, infiltrative, dark reddish-brown patches with sharply defined borders and a smooth surface. Numerous small red dots or erosions may appear, prone to bleeding but not ulceration. Histopathology holds diagnostic value, characterized by band-like inflammatory cell infiltration in the superficial dermis accompanied by abundant plasma cells.
