Black Glutinous Rice with Pearl Sago - Pregnancy Recipe
Main Ingredients: 200g glutinous rice, 100g millet
Seasonings: 200g coconut water, 250g rock sugar, 3g salt
Preparation Method
1. Soak black glutinous rice in water for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
2. Mix coconut water and fine salt together and set aside.
3. Bring about 8 cups of water to a boil. Add black glutinous rice and rock sugar. Once boiling, reduce to medium heat and simmer until the black glutinous rice is tender.
4. Stir millet grains into the mixture, transfer to a deep bowl, and add coconut milk just before serving.
Culinary Notes: Millet refers to common millet; black glutinous rice is also known as purple glutinous rice.
