Family History — Most families have a history of hereditary allergies such as urticaria, asthma, or allergic rhinitis. Children with both parents having a hereditary allergy history face a higher risk of developing allergic dermatitis.
Recurrent Episodes — Most flare-ups occur after exposure to allergens, though the trigger may sometimes be unclear.

Contact allergic dermatitis occurs when skin or mucous membranes come into contact with sensitizing substances, causing acute or chronic dermatitis at the site of contact. Synthetic fabrics, hair dyes, cosmetics, and other items can act as sensitizers. Symptoms typically appear within hours or days after exposure.
Presentation: Well-defined erythema, papules, and papulovesicles develop at the contact site, accompanied by intense itching.
