After removing the mask, rinse your face thoroughly with water. Remember to lock in moisture with hydrating skincare afterward—otherwise, all your effort will be wasted. A good seaweed mask should peel off in one clean piece, and your hands should feel clean and non-sticky after application.
Seaweed masks are the most practical: hydrating and brightening!
Three key benefits of seaweed masks:
Replenish and lock in moisture, leaving skin more nourished and resilient.
Tighten skin, restore elasticity, rejuvenate sagging skin, and help reduce wrinkles.
Algae boosts skin immunity and protective functions, repairs sun-induced dark spots and sleep deprivation-related pigmentation, and effectively fades acne marks and scars.
How to use algae masks:
Algae masks are hypoallergenic and affordable, making them the go-to choice for brightening and hydrating skin. Give them a try!
Imported seaweed granules are flat and brightly colored, while domestic varieties are larger, plump, and duller in hue. Imported options contain more gelatinous substance, making them the recommended choice.
Next comes preparation. Warm water is ideal for mixing, as it accelerates collagen release. Combine 15–20 grams of seaweed with 60–80 milliliters of water, stir into a paste, and apply to the face.I buy individually packaged 15g sachets. This ratio is based on my personal experience. If using bulk packaging, don't worry about exact measurements—just mix until the paste clings to your hands. Avoid making it too thick, as it will be difficult to spread evenly on your face. Leave it on for about 25–35 minutes, and you're done!
Tip: You can add honey, milk, aloe vera juice, cucumber water, rose water, etc., during mixing. I use rose water and pearl powder, which I find more effective than plain water. First, mix the pearl powder thoroughly with the seaweed, then add a small amount of warm water to achieve a drier consistency. Add the rose water afterward—adding water before the pearl powder will prevent it from blending evenly.
Finally, the cleanup. After removing the mask, wash your face thoroughly with clean water. Remember to lock in moisture with hydrating skincare afterward—otherwise, all your effort will be wasted. A good seaweed mask should peel off in one clean sheet, and your hands should feel clean and non-sticky after mixing.
