Jam Sweet Buns - Pregnancy Recipe
Main Ingredients: 500g wheat flour, 100g walnuts, 100g sesame seeds
Additional Ingredients: 50g peanuts, 100g tomato sauce, 20g green pepper
Seasonings: 80g white sugar, 20g apple sauce
Preparation Process
1.Heat a wok over high heat. Toast walnuts, sesame seeds, and peanuts separately until fragrant. Remove skins from peanuts, then crush walnuts and peanuts together. Transfer to a small bowl. Add sesame seeds, white sugar, and jam. Mix thoroughly.
2. Place steamed bun flour in a bowl. Add water and knead into a dough. Dust a work surface with flour. Transfer dough and knead until smooth.Roll into a long log and cut into 50g portions. Roll each piece into a round wrapper slightly thicker in the center and thinner at the edges. Place the prepared filling inside, pinch into a crescent or round shape, and attach a small amount of green and red pepper strips on top. Steam in a bamboo steamer for about 20 minutes.
Culinary Note: Walnuts, sesame seeds, and peanuts may be substituted with Chinese yam and white poria.
