Leukorrhea is a normal physiological reaction of women. Leukorrhea is small in amount, milky white and egg-white in colour, with a slightly fishy smell but no discomfort. In terms of the cause of thick and sticky leukorrhea, the formation of leukorrhea is closely related to estrogen. During the menstrual cycle, as the secretion of estrogen varies from time to time, the quality and quantity of the leukorrhea will also change, so the leukorrhea is formed to be thick and sticky.

Pathological leukorrhea refers to abnormal changes in the colour, quantity, taste and texture of the leukorrhea, the most common causes being sticky leukorrhea, leukorrhea discolouration, leukorrhea increase and leukorrhea odour:

First, mycosis fungoides: the colour of the leukorrhea is yellow or with white, most of the texture is sticky, and sometimes the quality is thin, typical leukorrhea tofu dregs and milk curdled lumps.

Second, endometritis and other pelvic inflammatory disease: leucorrhoea increase, thin texture, yellow colour, accompanied by abdominal pain.

Third, gonorrhoea: leucorrhoea is yellow pus-like.

Fourth, cervical erosion: leucorrhoea is yellow, sticky and tasteless.

Fifth, trichomonas vaginitis: leukorrhea is dilute pus-like, yellow, foamy or rice slop-like, greyish, smelly.

Fallopian tube cancer: because the tumour stimulates the epithelial exudate of the fallopian tube and the necrosis of the diseased tissues, watery leucorrhoea will appear and go on and on.
