1. Deep Breathing
Practice deep breathing to soothe your emotions. Deep breaths increase lung ventilation and gas exchange, elevate blood oxygen saturation, and promote optimal function across all organs and systems. Additionally, they enhance pulmonary blood circulation, facilitating the expulsion of residual air and metabolic waste from the lungs. Furthermore, deep breathing stimulates the alveolar stretch receptors, activating the parasympathetic nervous system to relax the body and alleviate tension.
2. Stretching
Appropriate stretching can also relieve stress. "Stretching promotes fitness and relieves fatigue." Extending the neck and raising the arms is an exercise that stretches the waist, mobilizes joints, and relaxes the spine. Within just a few seconds, it can drive stagnant blood back to the heart, increasing blood circulation volume and improving overall blood flow.Additionally, stretching helps clear neck blood vessels, allowing smooth blood flow to the brain. 4. Rubbing the Face
Rubbing the face, including the nasal wings, is also beneficial. Place your warmed hands flat on your face. Use the middle fingers of both hands to repeatedly rub from the front sides of the nose down to the sides of the nasal wings until the face feels warm. Then close your eyes and use your fingertips to massage the eyes and surrounding areas.
5. Neck Rubbing
Regularly massaging the neck area is also beneficial for health. First, use the index and ring fingers of both hands to repeatedly massage the Fengchi and Fengfu acupoints at the back of the neck, gradually increasing pressure until the area feels warm. Then slowly rotate the neck left and right, forward and backward, using a wide range of motion.
6. Chest Expansion Exercises
Chest expansion exercises relieve muscle fatigue. During breaks or when tired, perform a few chest expansion movements. This not only strengthens chest muscles but also increases lung capacity, improves respiratory function, and enhances work and life quality. Simultaneously, chest expansion exercises the pectoral muscles, stretching and stimulating the thymus gland to secrete more immune substances, thereby boosting disease resistance and anti-cancer capabilities.
7. Hand Bathing
This is also an excellent method. Hand bathing is a form of therapeutic massage. Assume a comfortable position, clear distracting thoughts, calm the mind, focus attention inward, avoid listening to external sounds or gazing into the distance, and concentrate on the navel. Rub your palms together slowly at first, then faster until they become warm.
8. Yawning
Yawning is a highly effective way to relieve fatigue.Yawning is a physiological necessity. It signals neural fatigue, indicating that excitement is approaching or has reached its peak, prompting the body to rest. Additionally, yawning helps relax eye muscles, promotes blood circulation around the eyes, and makes them feel brighter and more comfortable.
