Many people have had their teeth extracted, and although tooth extraction is commonly considered to be a relatively minor procedure, the pain suffered by the candidate during the extraction is obvious. However, the pain suffered by the candidate during the extraction is still very obvious, although the extraction will be anaesthetised, but the pain afterwards is generally intolerable, and in order to extract the tooth safely, there are many things to pay attention to before and after the extraction.

What are the precautions to be taken before tooth extraction?

Special times and experiences for women:

Menstruation, pregnancy, any history of habitual abortion.

  History of myocardial infarction:

It may be necessary to wait 6 months after the most recent myocardial infarction to consider supervised dental extractions.

  Hypertensive patients:

It is important to rest and control blood pressure before tooth extraction and wait until blood pressure is stable before performing the procedure under ECG supervision.

  Diabetic patients:

Keep your blood sugar under control and take antibiotics for 3 days before the extraction procedure to avoid wound infection.

  Those with acute inflammation:

  Tooth extraction should be postponed.

  Patients with severe haematological disorders:

For example, patients with haemophilia, thrombocytopenic purpura, leukaemia, etc. are usually treated or controlled for the disease before tooth extraction is considered.

  Liver disease:

Patients with hepatitis, cirrhosis, and those with impaired liver function are prone to trigger bleeding. Ask your doctor to decide if you can have a tooth extracted.

  Kidney disease:

People with kidney failure or severe kidney disease should also not have their teeth extracted. Mild kidney disease can be treated with antibiotic injections for 2-3 days prior to tooth extraction.

  Hyperthyroidism:

Due to infection, anxiety or surgery may cause thyroid crisis and even rapid death. If teeth are extracted, pre-operative tests are required.
