Proper hair washing techniques are crucial. Even though we wash our hair daily, improper methods or incorrect steps render the effort futile. First, thoroughly wet your hair—ensuring every strand, from the ends to the scalp, is saturated. This is key to achieving a clean wash.
As the saying goes, Rome wasn't built in a day. Similarly, washing your hair requires a step-by-step approach. When it comes to shampoo, many people simply pour a dollop directly onto their hands and start rubbing. Instead, you should first pour the shampoo into your hands and lather it up. Ideally, work it into a rich foam. If that's not possible, use the warmth of your hands to dissolve the shampoo, allowing your hair to absorb it more effectively.
After applying shampoo to the hair, many assume they should simply use their fingers to work it in, rubbing back and forth. Wrong! Instead, insert your shampoo-lathered hands into the hair at the temples, creating more lather, then gently massage upward toward the crown. Thoroughly cleanse from the crown down to the hairline at the back of the head.Use broad circular motions to enhance scalp blood circulation. Massage and cleanse the scalp with the rich lather, working in upward circular motions. This also helps tighten facial skin.
After completing these steps, many might think they're done—but there's more. Post-wash care is essential. After massaging, rinsing is crucial. Pay attention to shampoo residue while rinsing with water. You can tilt your head up or down, but ensure the areas behind the ears, hairline, and temples are thoroughly rinsed. Your own method is convenient, but to prevent hair loss, you must apply a hair mask next, starting from the damaged ends on both sides.Avoid applying it to the scalp and don't rub it in. Just like applying facial serum, move upward from the roots. Hair masks should also be applied against the direction of hair growth, moving upward from the ends to ensure penetration. Never apply it to the scalp—stick to the ends. Use less product as you move upward. For a voluminous look, make sure to rinse thoroughly.
