Dietary Therapy Recipes for Increased Vaginal Discharge
Lotus Seed and Goji Berry Stuffed Pork Intestines
Take 50g lotus seeds, 50g goji berries, two sections of pork small intestine, and two eggs.First clean the pork intestines. Mix the soaked lotus seeds, goji berries, and beaten eggs, then stuff into the intestines. Tie both ends tightly with string. Add 1000ml water and simmer until cooked. Slice and consume. Take in three divided doses daily, preparing a new batch every other day. Suitable for kidney deficiency-type increased vaginal discharge. Contraindicated for damp-heat pattern patients.
Gorgon Nut, Lotus Seed, and Lotus Leaf Porridge
Ingredients: 60g gorgon nuts, 60g lotus seeds, 1 fresh lotus leaf, 50g glutinous rice.Shell the water chestnuts, peel and remove the seeds from the lotus seeds. Cut the fresh lotus leaf into 3cm x 2cm pieces and wash thoroughly. Place all three ingredients with the glutinous rice in an earthenware pot. Add 500-600ml of water and cook until done. Take twice daily. Effects are typically seen within 5-7 days. Sugar may be added to taste when consuming.This formula is suitable for spleen deficiency-type excessive vaginal discharge. Avoid if suffering from intestinal heat with dry stools.
