Stand with legs parallel, feet spaced three foot lengths apart. Squat down with toes pointing straight ahead, not outward.
Knees should push outward but not extend beyond the toes, with thighs parallel to the ground.
Simultaneously draw the hips inward and forward, keeping the buttocks tucked in. This creates a rounded crotch, commonly known as a "rounded crotch." Keep the chest slightly sunken and the back rounded, avoiding an upright posture.
Hands may be held in front of the chest as if cradling a ball. Maintain a light, upright posture with the crown of the head lifted, as if suspended by a string.
