Method for Making Honey-Preserved Lemons
Step 1:Wash the lemons thoroughly with warm water. Then, use coarse salt to thoroughly rub and massage each lemon. This step is crucial—similar to washing your face—to completely remove dirt from the lemon's pores and wax from the skin, preventing mold and spoilage during pickling.Soak the lemons in salt water for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry the peel completely.
Step 2: Find a container—a glass jar, lunchbox, or similar works. Ensure it's thoroughly cleaned, sterilized with boiling water, and completely dry.
