Vinegar-soaked black beans are a time-tested remedy in traditional Chinese medicine for treating kidney deficiency. They offer beauty benefits, aid weight loss, nourish the kidneys, improve eyesight, and darken hair. They effectively alleviate constipation, high blood pressure, high blood lipids, lower back and leg pain, diabetes, prostate issues, graying hair, coronary heart disease, and vision deterioration, eye pain, dryness, dizziness, and headaches caused by prolonged computer or TV use.Additionally, vinegar-soaked black beans are highly effective in improving myopia and other eye conditions.
Ingredients: Black beans (as needed), vinegar (as needed).
Method:
1. Place washed and dried black beans in a wok and dry-roast over medium heat.
2. After five minutes, you'll smell a bean aroma and hear popping sounds as the skins crack. Once all skins have popped, reduce heat to low and roast for another five minutes.
3. Transfer to a container and cool in a well-ventilated area.
4. Place the cooled beans in a lidded container and pour in enough vinegar to fully submerge them. (Any type of vinegar works; I use aged vinegar.)
5. Once the beans have absorbed all the vinegar, transfer to a serving dish. Add honey, mix well, and enjoy.
Consumption Guidelines: Eat only two or three beans at a time. Consistent consumption is key for effectiveness. The various organic acids in vinegar counteract this greasiness while enhancing flavor. Soaking peanuts in vinegar for over a week, consuming 7–10 nuts nightly for one week per course, can lower blood pressure, soften blood vessels, and reduce cholesterol buildup. Note: Consume moderately—no more than a dozen nuts—and rinse your mouth promptly afterward to protect teeth.
Both roasted and raw peanuts are suitable. Vinegar-soaked peanuts possess heat-clearing and blood-activating properties, effectively protecting blood vessel walls and preventing blood clot formation. Consistent long-term consumption can lower blood pressure, soften blood vessels, and reduce cholesterol buildup, making them a health food for preventing cardiovascular diseases. Peanuts contain essential unsaturated fatty acids for the human body, but they are high in fat content, calorie-dense, and have an oily texture. The various organic acids in vinegar counteract this greasiness while enhancing flavor. Thus, vinegar-pickled peanuts achieve the dual benefits of lowering blood pressure, softening blood vessels, and reducing cholesterol buildup—truly a win-win!
Ingredients: 50g peanuts, half a bottle of vinegar.
Method:
1. Use 50g of peanuts (preferably fresh).
2. Place them in an airtight jar and pour in rice vinegar or aged vinegar.
3. Ensure the vinegar fully covers the peanuts. Seal the lid tightly and store in a cool, dark place for 7-10 days.
4. They'll be ready to eat in about a week. Consumption: Limit to one small spoonful (5-10 peanuts) daily. Consistent consumption yields the best results.
Vinegar-Pickled Ginger
Clinical studies confirm vinegar-pickled ginger maintains healthy spleen and stomach function. Crucially, when these organs function properly, many health issues resolve naturally.
Heart disease is closely linked to stomach health. Where does cholesterol originate? It originates from the digestive tract. Where does gout come from? It also stems from the digestive tract. High blood pressure is related as well. Therefore, by optimizing digestive and spleen-stomach health, we address these issues comprehensively. Thus, consuming vinegar-pickled ginger daily offers significant health benefits. Not only does it provide excellent health benefits, but it also serves as a delightful flavored cold appetizer. While beneficial, avoid overindulgence—2-4 slices daily are sufficient.
Ingredients: One piece of ginger (preferably fresh), one bottle of rice vinegar or aged vinegar.
Method:
1. Slice the ginger.
2. Place the sliced ginger into a jar and pour in the rice vinegar or aged vinegar.
3. Fill the jar with vinegar until it fully covers the ginger.
4. Take a small piece of plastic wrap and fold it into a compact square.
5. Wrap the folded plastic wrap over the jar opening.
6. Secure the lid tightly. Refrigerate for one week before consumption.
Usage: Take 2-4 slices daily, preferably in the morning. Long-term consumption yields best results.
