2. Understand the health history of your immediate family and your partner's family members
If possible, have your partner accompany you to the checkup, especially for the first visit. 3. Wear easy-to-remove clothing

4. Arrive on an empty stomach, bring snacks and water
Many blood tests require fasting. Bring snacks and water to eat and drink immediately after fasting tests to prevent low blood sugar.
5. Remember the date of your last menstrual period before pregnancy
Doctors use this date to calculate your due date and assess fetal growth. Be sure to recall the date of your final period before conception.
6. Utilize prenatal leave effectively
Prenatal leave policies vary by region and even by company. Working mothers should thoroughly understand their company's policy beforehand and make the most of their leave. Remember to request a prenatal visit certificate from your doctor during appointments to use as proof for taking leave.
